Soundslug is an audio tech startup based out of Northern California.
Our company's first product, the SLUG, is a portable keychain that plugs into the 3.5mm audio ports on a computer and records all the audio being played by the computer. The back of the SLUG pulls apart to allow you to rip audio from external devices.
Kenny Gibbs and Seena Zandipour are two UC Merced students who want to disrupt the music world. They were struck with the idea of SoundSlug when they were up late in the studio one night and found themselves struggling to save a snippet of audio that was playing on the computer. Kenny is a 21 year-old gadget innovator who skates, sings, and enjoys working on cars. Seena is a 21 year-old web developer who skates, raps, and likes comic books. Their main product, The SLUG, is only the first of their ideas. There's no telling what's coming next from the SoundSlug labs.
